The iMet-4200 automatic rainfall station records accumulated rain fall with a tipping bucket and transmits the data at user defined intervals through a GSM/GPRS modem. The ARS is of a very rugged design to allow for operation in extreme climate and weather conditions. The low maintenance design makes long term unattended operations possible. The design features an integrated solar panel and battery charger for remote operations.
